After building 11 successful family fun centers across the country, the Barton Family decided to call Las Vegas home, opening Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix in 1992. Jerry’s experience as an amusement park architect, hotel engineer, Army Veteran and father all proved invaluable as this amazing 7-acre park was developed. Matisun’s support spiritually and professionally has been instrumental to the success of the park over the decades. Taylor, an accomplished professional race car driver on many levels, including NASCAR, now contributes his marketing talents particularly in the digital space.

That’s the most valuable lesson Jim, the new GM of Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix, has learned as a career hospitality executive. Hailing from Indiana, Jim’s solid midwestern values have contributed to his successful career in Las Vegas. Over the last 30 years Jim has worked as a senior executive for many of the most iconic casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. Beginning as a buffet and bar manager at Harrah’s Casino, to the Food & Beverage Director of the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino and the Palms Casino and Hotel, and even as the Vice President of Food & Beverage at the Stratosphere & Tropicana Casinos.

A native-born Las Vegan, Gina’s a 40-year hospitality industry professional. A graduate of UNLV with a bachelor’s in Hospitality Management, Gina began in hotels spanning 21 years between operations and sales. In 2011, she joined the team at the LVCVA marketing the destination across North America. Since her LVCVA days, Gina served as VP for Baskow and Associates, a local DMC, VP of sales for Walters Golf, executive director for LV American Heart and Stroke Association, and VP of groups/events at SPEEDVEGAS.
